The device is also very effective against other insects like houseflies. It consists of a solar panel, a blue LED light and a metal grill. The blue light attracts the mosquitoes which get electrocuted by the metal grill which is connected to the battery and solar panel. The grill is protected by a plastic frame to keep it out of reach of children and other persons.
